Half Of Americans Believe Celebrities Can Make A Positive Differ

Last week, after numbers revealed that a mere 6 people signed up for ObamaCare in the first day, don't expect Oprah to tell you to sign up for health insurance any time soon. In fact, reports are theta the talk show queen outright refused to help sell ObamaCare for the president. The biggest problem with having celebrities endorse something like a government program is that in this sense they cannot relate to the average American. Most of the celebrities endorsing Obama's "product" are wealthy enough to have concierge physicians, as the Huffington Post reports- access to their doctors anytime, anywhere. Most Americans can't afford the $30,000 it takes for that kind of quality care. <br>Source: http://www.examiner.com/article/celebrities-don-t-have-obamacare-s-back

They seem to be just hanging around listening and singing along to Paul's new song. Just a normal day in Sir Paul McCartney's life? Maybe. But he's not the first site web musician to bring in A-listers to a music video shoot. Celebrities and music have always gone hand in hand. They just love to collaborate. <br>Source: http://shine.yahoo.com/work-money/7-celebrities-whove-had-cameos-music-videos-164000638.html

5, kim kardashian celebuzz 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether it's to spread awareness of a disease or a conflict in another country, or even to help pass or stop a piece of legislation, celebrities get involved in causes hoping that their name recognition will help spur others to also get involved. Tales from Capitol Hill tell of star-struck Representatives and Senators waiting like teenage fans to hopefully meet George Clooney or Angelina Jolie as they testify in hearings on causes near and dear to them. But do these celebrities actually make a difference? Over half of Americans (53%) say that these celebrities can make a large or some positive difference to the cause they are promoting, up from 45% who said this in 2008. Just over one in five (22%) believe these celebrities can make a little positive difference for their cause and just 16% say they make no difference at all, down from 24% who said this in 2008. (Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20100517/NY06256LOGO ) These are some of the results of The Harris Poll of 2,577 adults surveyed online between September 18 and 24, 2013 by Harris Interactive . (Full results, including data tables, can be found here ) Many of these causes have a political nature, and Democrats seem to have more star firepower for causes they believe in over Republicans. <br>Source: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/half-americans-believe-celebrities-positive-100000999.html

With a 35 year career as an award-winning hip-hop pioneer, Grandmaster Jay will develop and enhance the Beamz DJ product line and promote it through public appearances, online videos, and social media channels to the aspiring and professional DJ market, potentially opening new doors for the company. Amateur DJs to Mass Market Consumers With over 45 million Americans playing a musical instrument and 80% saying they wish they could play, the music industry represents a substantial multi-billion dollar market opportunity for companies with the right product and awareness initiatives. Beamz Interactive's celebrity endorsement deals address two key segments - mass-market consumers and the amateur to professional DJs - with two different products catered to the needs of the market in terms of sophistication. The potential among mass-market consumers can perhaps be best quantified by looking at a similar product Kardashian from Activision Blizzard Inc. /quotes/zigman/110164/delayed/quotes/nls/atvi ATVI -1.84% - Guitar Hero. <br>Source: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/celebrities-endorse-beamz-interactive-ahead-of-key-holiday-season-2013-11-05
